Rod has directed over 50 theatre productions. Many of these were developmental workshop productions of new plays. He has also directed over ten solo shows, all of which were developed from the ground up. Beyond his noteworthy record in developing new work, he is recognized for his innovative interpretations of the classics and for his ability to draw great performances out of his actors.

Rod is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers. (SSDC)
